Lack of sleep produces strange results. I didn't set out to do either of these pieces, but here they are. Is there a theme here? I think so, but I don't think it's the obvious. Not the blood, or implication of violence, but rather, the hollowness. Both subjects are empty. That seems to be popping up in my work a lot lately.

I did both of these pieces strictly digitally. It's hard for me to accept them as 'legitimate' art, as such, I think. Maybe because I didn't get my hands dirty, it doesn't deserve to be considered as such? I don't know if that's it exactly, but it's got a good beat and you can dance to it.
